Cut & Style Barbie ( also known as Superschnitt Barbie)

Today I wanna show you my four Cut & Style Barbies fom 1994. The dolls were made for the Playline-market but nowadays collectors are also interested in them. Many of them had them in their childhood. I also belong to the ones who had one of them in their childhood. Today I like all of them. Each one is special in her own way but earlier I was only interested in the blonde Barbie doll with the pink dress. I’m happy to have the whole series.

One of the first Collector Barbie dolls

Today I wanna show you a rare Barbie doll that I found in January. She’ s considered to be one of the first Barbie dolls to be made for the adult collectors. She’ s called Feelin’ Groovy Barbie and was designed by Billy Boy (a fashion designer) in 1986. This doll has the popular Steffie-head mold.

Another sweet Kelly Giftset

I got a  lot of positive feedback for my last blog article. Now I wanna show you another favorite of my Kelly Giftsets that I found in 2009. This time it’s the Kelly Pretty Kitty Giftset. It was available in 2002 and it’s a Target Exclusive.  To me it’s interesting since I never saw such a Giftset before. When I bought my Kellys here in the mid 1990s pets weren’t available for them.

Kelly Dress Up Friends set

I’m back. My PC broke down in January but now I have new one and I have new dolls to talk about 😉
Finally after 10 years I found this set recently for a low price. Ten years ago it costed approximately 50 Euros in Germany. I thought the price was too expensive to buy the set and so I waited several years. The set is interesting to me since I collect the early Kelly dolls and it’s a special TRU edition.

15th Anniversary

In these days  I’ll celebrate my 15th anniversary of Barbie collecting. I began to collect Barbie in the last days of November in 1996.  The Irish Barbie from DOTW (Dolls of the World) was my first collector doll.  I was happy to have her in my collection. She was followed by two other Barbie collector dolls in December. One of them was the Happy Holidays 1995 ( we bought her as Happy Holidays 1996 here in Germany) and the Indian Barbie from 1996. And these three dolls were only the begin of my collection.

Generation Girl Susie

I have always been a fan of the Generation Girl Series but until now I had none of them. Yesterday I got the first of my Generation Girls. She’s called Susie and the european Version of Generation Girl Tori. I like her since she reminds me on the fashion and the feeling from then. Obviously the Generation Girl Tori was made for the whole european market and not only for Spain and Portugal.
